Weekly Resident DJ Snowboy

DJ Snowboy has a comprehensive 30,000 piece Black music record collection and has been much in demand to compile and do sleeve-notes for many CD’s. He has written a book called ‘From Jazz Funk And Fusion To Acid Jazz’ and wrote for the famous Funk and Hip Hop magazines ‘Big Daddy’ and ‘Grand Slam’ and is currently a columnist and reviewer for Blues And Soul.
 
Along with Keb Darge he was one of the originators of the world-famous club night & scene ‘Deep Funk’. He was a resident at The Jazz Café for 16 years, The Blue Note in  London, and he ran the world’s number one Jazz Dance night, ’The Hi-Hat’ for 13 years. He is also proudly a music curator for the award-winning ‘Vintage 2011’ festival and a part of the DJ team for the ‘Southport Dance Weekender’ -  the most important Black music dance event of its kind in the world.

Craig Charles
As well as being a huge star of television (Red Dwarf, Coronation Street), Craig also presents the immensely popular ‘The Funk & Soul Show’ on BBC Radio 6 every Saturday night. Expect a road-block at his every appearance at The Good Foot!

Eddie Piller
Eddie is the owner of the world-famous ‘Acid Jazz Records’ and officially the King Of The Mods! As an incredibly in-demand international DJ he plays his selection of Northern and Modern Soul, Funk and Organ Grooves all over the world at huge Soul and Mod weekenders, festivals and clubs.

Ian Wright 
Ian is quite simply globally acknowledged as the owner of the world’s greatest Funk collection. He has personally  discovered lot's of rare Funk 45’s that are now considered classics and has compiled the highly-acclaimed ‘Sister Funk’ compilations for both BBE and Jazzman Records.

Adrian Gibson
Adrian was the owner of the pioneering ‘Freestyle Records’ – one of the country’s best independent black music labels. He’s an international DJ and record collector specialising in Funk, Soul, Latin and African 45’s and has championed the careers of many of today’s new Funk bands.

Gary Dennis

Gary’s been seriously collecting black music  since the early 1970’s and was forced into deejaying because people wanted to hear his amazing record collection. He was one of the pioneers of the important Rare Groove movement in the 1980’s and is the owner of one the seriously greatest record shops in the world - ‘Crazy Beat Records’ in Upminster, Essex. As well as the discoverer of many Rare Groove and Funk classics, Gary DJ’s at most of the leading Soul weekenders too.

Dr Bob Jones
Put quite simply: Bob Jones is considered one of the most important British Black music DJ's ever in his 40 year career. He is a pioneer. One of the innovators of Jazz Dance and a front-runner in all things Soulful. At 'The Good Foot' Bob will treat us to nuggets of 60's & 70's Funk, Soul, R&B and Mod Jazz from his vast collection.

Perry Louis
Perry has lived and breathed Jazz Funk since the late 1970’s and has always been a heavily rated dancer. He is the leader of the world-famous Jazz Dance troupe ‘Jazzcotech’ and the DJ and host of the long-running club session ‘Messin’ Around’ at The Jazz Café and 100 Club.

Si Cheeba
Si is an Essex-based Mancunian with a lot of important DJ residencies behind him. Not only is he respected far and wide for his encyclopaedic knowledge of Black music and incredible record collection of Funk, Soul and R&B he is noted for his love of Latin Soul – earning himself the title of ‘King Of The Boogaloo’.
