DJ Snowboy presents a weekly selection of Original and Authentic, Floor-shaking vintage black music from it’s most legendary eras!
Named after the James Brown classic 'Get On The Good Foot', the sets rock the Madame Jojo’s dancefloor for anyone and everyone who loves the all-out party euphoria created by these pure vintage sounds.

May 4th – EDDIE PILLER
Our monthly guest session from from Acid Jazz records owner and the acknowledged 'Modfather'. Eddie always tears the place apart with his selection of Northern Soul, 60's R&B. Funk and Mod Jazz.
May 11th – GARY DENNIS
Gary is not only the owner of one of the world's greatest record shops 'Crazy Beat', he is a busy DJ on the international Soul scene and most importantly, one of the originators of the 80's rare Groove scene.
May 18 – LUBI & SI CHEEBA
Tonight will be the official after-party for Snowboy's concert at Islington Assembly Hall. He has two guest DJ's tonight - Lubi is celebrating 30 years as a Latin and Funk DJ and is also both one of the main compilers of Latin CD's and one of Europe's main Salsa DJ's. Also, on the night, is 'Good Foot' regular, Si Cheeba, so with his selection of Boogaloo and Funk it's going to be an explosive night!
May 25th – ANDY LEWIS
A new regular guest at The Good Foot, Andy is not only one of the original DJ's at the legendary 'Blow Up' nights, he is a famous record producer who also happens to be Paul Weller's bass player. He makes his debut tonight just a day from returning home from Weller's US tour. We're excited to have him at the club!
June 1st – EDDIE PILLER
Once again, Eddie's back with his big following. Not surprising considering he's the owner of Acid Jazz Records and the chief mover and shaker in the Mod scene.
June 8th – DEAN RUDLAND
Not only a famous DJ, Dean has compiled, literally, 100's of Soul, Funk and Latin CD's for labels such as Ace and Fania. He always brings enormous knowledge and incredible records to The Good Foot.
June 15th – JO WALLACE
No wonder she's the UK's Queen Of Soul. Jo always delivers with such, taste and authority and is very popular at the club. She must be doing something right as she's the official CD compiler for Motown!
June 22nd – Dr BOB JONES
It's been a while since we've had this legendary and barrier-breaking DJ at The Good Foot. Celebrating 45 years as a black music DJ, Bob's importance in the UK's club culture history cannot be underestimated. We're proud to have him back at The Good Foot with his impeccable selection.
June 29th – GREG BELSON
Last time ex-pat Greg Belson was over from LA he literally tore the place apart. Greg was behind so many famous and loved clubs here in London before he crossed the atlantic. Now he's just as established there. This is a rare opportunity to see him. Don't miss him!

Not one, but two guests tonight! Firstly, we have ex-Freestyle Records owner, Adrian, who held the much-loved residency 'Messin' Around' at The Jazz Cafe for 18 years, and Gary Dennis, who you know as being one of the originators and un-sung heroes of the Rare Groove scene. What a night ahead.
July 20th – JAY STRONGMAN
Yes, Jay is back again from LA for not one night but two. This weekend he will be celebrating 30 years of deejaying by playing at Madame Jo Jo's at The Good Foot on Friday and Lost And Found on the Saturday. A Jay Strongman weekend! He was the originator of the UK's warehouse scene and one of the most important DJ's ever here, so come and help him celebrate.
July 27th – SI CHEEBA
Tonight Snowboy will be aided and abetted by the King Of The Boogaloo, Si Cheeba. As always Si will be treating us to the finest vintage Black music 45's from his rated collection.
With the UK's greatest guest DJ’s, Regular Album launches from ACE Records and exclusive concert after-parties. Expect an incomparable feel-good blend of 60’s & 70’s R&B, Deep Funk, Soul, Boogaloo, Mambo and Rare Groove.
