Saturday 6th February Jack Rabbit Slim Album Launch at Lost & Found

Tonight Lost & Found hosts the launch of the Rockabilly album of the year! Jack Rabbit Slim, one of the hottest Rockabilly bands ever to come out of the UK, celebrate their eagerly-awaited new album – so let the rockin’ begin!

‘Hairdos & Heartaches’ is album number four from these highly talented, red hot rockers. With typically self-penned tracks such as ‘Everyday’s Gonna Be Like Yesterday’ and ‘21st Century Bettie Page’ it is acknowledged as their best album to date and with the band now established worldwide, great success is anticipated.

Formed in 2004 by prolific and passionate singer/songwriter Bob Butfoy, former front man and founder of Bob & The Bearcats, the band’s 2005 debut album ‘Sinuendo’ drew rave reviews and big sales, and Jack Rabbit Slim never looked back. Their subsequent albums ‘Sleaze-a-Billy’ and ‘From The Waist Down’ (voted album of the year by Viva le Punk) have brought national airplay and TV appearances, high billing at the massive Rockabilly Rave Festivals in the US and UK, a West Coast tour and an appearance at Viva Las Vegas.

As well as being highly respected in the Rockabilly world, Jack Rabbit Slim have made many friends and fans further out in the mainstream. High profile fans of the band include top model Daisy Lowe, cult DJ Keb Darge and TV’s ‘Punk Chef’ Gizzi Erskine.

With their raw, untamed sound, Jack Rabbit Slim are guaranteed to raise the roof and fill the dancefloor – and there’s no better floor than the fabulous Lost & Found – the best-loved club night for real, authentic, jumpin’ and jivin’ Rockabilly!
