After a fantastic launch night, Burlesque Idol is back and better than ever! Fusing together award-winning comedians and top international burlesque acts with the heart-wrenching drama of Pop Idol, there’s no other show that enables YOU to choose the next burlesque superstar!
One of London’s most exciting cabaret nights, Burlesque Idol is an inspired concept which takes this very popular format into the exciting world of burlesque – with participants selected from the crème de la crème of talented artistes, already at the top of their game, taking up the challenge with feather boas and tassels at the ready! The show runs on the last Friday of every month, building up to a thrilling climax when the finalists take their prizes. Starring the show’s creator, the lovely Miss Lola LaBelle, who also heads up the panel of judges, Burlesque Idol brings together top international burlesque acts, and strong audience participation: this is the show where YOU call the shots!
Burlesque Idol: The Show
Each show features a panel of judges comprised of producers, promoters, and a residing guest burlesque ‘celebrity’; as well as one of the UK’s top comedians to keep the crowd entertained; and of course, a selection of international burlesque beauties, dancing their hearts out to reach a place in the Final - and a chance to win over £3,000 in prizes!
The Vote is Yours
Burlesque Idol believes the star should be chosen by the people, which is why a whopping 75% majority of the vote goes to the audience. As they check in, guests will receive a ballot, which will then be collected and counted whilst the guest burlesque artists from the panel of judges, take to the stage to entertain the crowd with dazzling and hilarious performances.
Featuring an all-star line up of judges including Kiki Kaboom, Tempest Rose and Lola LaBelle (“Outstanding!” - The London Paper), and some of the UK’s fastest rising burly talent participating, this show is a dazzling treat for the senses.
There is a prize for Best Dressed audience member, so dress fabulously and prepare to cast your vote for who you think should be the UK’s next Burlesque Idol!
